Art & Design
At Offley Primary Academy, we believe that through art, craft and design we engage, inspire and challenge pupils by introducing them to a range of techniques, materials and artists, craftspeople and designers. Through an ambitious, adaptive, and aspirational Art and Design curriculum, we equip pupils with the knowledge and skills to experiment, explore, take risks, invent and create so that every child can flourish and reach their full artistic potential. It enables all pupils to express themselves creatively, appreciate the diverse world of art and nurture well-rounded individuals who not only possess artistic skills but also an appreciation for diversity, creativity, and the transformative power of art in shaping a vibrant and culturally rich society. This will prepare our children for potential future careers within the Art and Design field, for example, as designers, craftspeople, graphic designers, illustrators, curators, architects etc.
