Computing

At Offley Primary Academy, pupils will become ambitious, independent users of information and communication technologies, gaining confidence and enjoyment from their activities. Computing will be used as a tool to develop skills and understanding across all areas of learning regardless of any barriers. Pupils will become digitally literate and have access to a wealth of learning opportunities and transferrable skills that will develop their passion and ability to thrive in a society where computing is becoming increasingly more important. This prepares our pupils for their future careers, whether that be in video game design, software engineering or artificial intelligence development. Pupils will use computational thinking, imagination and creativity to understand and change the world whilst ensuring that they are responsible, respectful and safe users of information and communication technology.
